Nature's Variety Dog Food Recall!

February 15, 2013 - Nature's Variety has announced a voluntary recall of one batch of Instinct Raw Organic Chicken Formula distributed in the US and Canada.

Clear pieces of plastic was reported by a consumer, found in some bags, and could cause a chocking hazard. No harm to pets has been reported and the company says the issue has been fixed.

A single batch of Organic Chicken Formula is affected, that has the "Best if Used By" date of 10/04/13. This includes:

  • Instinct Raw Organic Chicken Formula patties, 6 lbs. bag
  • Instinct Raw Organic Chicken Formula patties, 36 lbs. case
  • Instinct Raw Organic Chicken Formula medallions, 3 lbs. bag
  • Instinct Raw Organic Chicken Formula medallions, 27 lbs. case

If you bought one of these products, you can get a refund or exchange with a proof of purchase and/or the original packaging of the product returned to your point of purchase.
