Disaster Preparation for Puppies

No, I'm not borrowing trouble when I say today is a GREAT day to prepare for a disaster. That's because there are no huge national disasters at the moment (at least while I'm typing this!). And the time to get prepared is when you have time to do so, and are not under the threat of a fire, flood or inclement weather.

It doesn't matter where you live. Each part of the country has its own type of challenges. I live in "tornado alley" and know exactly what to do if we fall under a watch or a warning. We've also had instances of wildfires and flash floods. Other parts of the country risk hurricanes, earthquakes or even tsunami-type disasters. When it happens you won't have time to do more than grab the fur-kids and get the H-outta-Dodge, so you better have your own and a pet disaster kit handy.

The latest article has tips for you to consider. I hope you'll never need it. But just in case, be ready with this information.
