Dealing With Jealous Puppies

pups play fightingWhether you call it jealous or sibling rivalry, pushy puppy behavior can turn up the aggression in your multipet household and lead to potentially serious behavior problems. A more appropriate term is "competition" and actually, this is a pretty normal behavior in dogs.

When your puppy has the "HIS toy is better than MINE" attitude or the old fogy pet wants to hog all of your affection, what's a caring owner to do? After all, you want to treat all the fur-kids in an equal, fair manner, right?
