The next article in my series covering pet food address what food labels REALLY tell you about the food. Yes, there are some myth-teries involved in reading puppy food labels. Some terms have very specific meanings in terms of legalese. Other terms have absolutely no legal definition in terms of puppy food--HOLISTIC for instance is designed to get owners to think the food is healthier and so get you to open your pocket book. Neither does HUMAN GRADE...although we'd all like to think we're feeding Junior-Dog the equivalent of prime rib that we'd want to eat.
