Halloween Safety for Puppies

By October 4, 2011

TugYes, it's still early in the month, but don't wait until the last minute to prepare for Halloween safety for puppies. The holiday can be great fun for kids, adults and pets--but only when you're able to puppy proof to keep Junior Dog healthy and happy.

Kids costumes can be scary, or so intriguing that the fur-kid decides to play tug-o-war and frightens the child. Trick or treat candy can make pups sick. And strangers wandering around the house could offer opportunities for the baby dog to escape out the door, or (horrors!) bite a child.

By all means have fun this coming Halloween. But review this article on how you can keep your puppy safe before the ghosties and goblins descend.
